Reminds me of traveling and being with loved ones, most of all :-)
Wanted to share this with you! <3
One day, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it's worth watching. <3 Live. Love. Laugh. Nature. Peace. Happiness. Music. Art. Dance. Give. Help. Heal. Share and express your life & thoughts with your loved ones, and the world. <3
A few days ago, I was at Jamba Juice here in Manhattan, and while I was sitting down, these adorable kids were looking upward, behind me, and started dancing and doing cute moves, and I was wondering what they were doing, but smiled in amusement at their cuteness. Then I looked behind me and saw the tv screen connected to the security cameras, and they could see themselves on the tv screen, and were dancing and doing karate movies and jumping up and down and laughing hysterically. For them, this was the most exciting and fascinating thing for them, and it made them so happy, and made me so happy just watching them. Twirly dresses and toothless grins. They had no worries in the world, and no concern with anyone watching them or the people around. They were happy doing their dance moves and enjoying the small things that made them so happy. Pure bliss <3On Marriage

NOTIFICATION: Camp California Fitness has closed.
Camp California Fitness was started to realize a dream that the founders had to provide a safe setting where young women and girls could come to learn and implement ways of leading healthier lifestyles. The results were amazing. Five years of data showed consistent efficacy and the testimonials spoke for themselves. However, despite the fact that the health care professionals involved (including the physicians, dieticians, mental health professions, etc) provided tireless service to the camp without stipend, the current economic climate in the United States has made it economically impossible to continue. The camp was converted to a non-profit organization in 2008 in an attempt to attract support from individual and corporate donors as well as a means of acquiring capital through grants. Unfortunately, fundraising efforts have failed to raise enough capital to pay prior debts which was a prerequisite for reserving the college campus for summer 2009. All involved continue to dedicate their lives to providing care and teaching ways for people to optimize their lives through lifestyle modifications. While our passionate commitment to assisting people remains, we feel tremendous sadness about not being able to do so through Camp California Fitness. We feel blessed to have worked with so many amazing young women and families and hope that we will have the opportunity to do so in the future.
Sincerely,
Sam J.W. Romeo, MD, MBA
March 8th marks International Women's Day, a day to celebrate the economic, political, and social achievements of women around the world and to advocate for those women who experience violence and discrimination because of their gender . In the week following this important day, join with Amnesty International supporters across the United States to call on Congress to support legislation that will help stop the violence against women. According to the UN, approximately one in three women is beaten, raped or otherwise abused in her lifetime. With your help, and with your calls, we will pass legislation that will help stop the abuse and bring perpetrators to justice.

History has been made, and it is happening all around you. If you voted, you contributed to be a part of that history. Yes it is amazing, especially when you hear Reverend Jesse Jackson share his story of how he stood on stage when Martin Luther King was shot, and now he is here to see our nation's first African American president.
