a trip down memory lane

My first apartment in New York in 2008 - a sublet for about 3 months (April to June 2008) - lived with two other girl roomies. Our apt was a converted/renovated 5C/5D. Now someone named Patel lives there, who doesn't want his doorbell rung :-) put tape over it!

I went to this Walgreens almost every single day, for food, drinks, clothes, you name it! Still there :-)

This cafe is still there, 11 years later :-) Not sure if I ever ate there!

I went to this hardware store and bought my first set of curtains to cover my NY windows :-)

We still have one of the curtains in our home that we use as a tablecloth!

Store is still there :-) #goodtimes

journey to the sunshine

My favorite movie of all time is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

The movie is about life, love, understanding the good times and tough times, and finding the beauty, love, and happiness in all of it. I saw it in the theater in college in 2004, and I have always wanted to go find some of the places where they go in the movie. So Mohit and I took a trip to Long Island, particularly Montauk, to find the eternal sunshine!
