P.S. Happy Friday :-)

According to a preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake registered 4.2 on the Richter Scale and occurred at 4:42 a.m. The quake was centered 2 miles east-northeast of Oakland's city-center. The last time an earthquake of similar size hit the Bay Area was March 1, when a 4.2 magnitude quake originated in Walnut Creek.
