people in our lives

I have moved a lot in my life. The first 15-20 moves were during childhood or in college, and so they were not really my choice. But the last few were on my own and my choice as an adult. I have learned many happy and sad things about friends. Some good and close friends drift away from you when you move away. This is because even when you make a good effort and try to keep up your half and in touch, they no longer make their 50% of the effort, so no equal 50-50 from both sides. And then there are some friends who make effort and remain close, despite any distance. I know I will always meet people wherever I move, even if they are temporary, situational or area friends, that you have when you live in a particular place, or ones that you initially meet when you move somewhere or at work or something, that no matter where you go after that, some of them remain with you for life as your friend. It is all about the individual person and friendship relationship that you have with them. If people do not try or make an effort to be 50-5o in any and all relationships, it work work. And physical distance or time difference is no excuse, especially if the friendship is real, true and deep. Anything and everything can be worked out, whether a friendship or any other kind of relationship. But all relationships do change, none of them stay the same. Some change for the better and closer and some change for the worse and more distanct. It is the truth, even if hard and sad sometimes. Life keeps moving forward. Some people come and go. Others stay forever. That is the flow of life. And gifts we receive from God. Good to treasure and cherish all the memories of life, and then make new ones with old people and new people also in our lives :-)
