Children & Kids - life's lessons

A few days ago, I was at Jamba Juice here in Manhattan, and while I was sitting down, these adorable kids were looking upward, behind me, and started dancing and doing cute moves, and I was wondering what they were doing, but smiled in amusement at their cuteness. Then I looked behind me and saw the tv screen connected to the security cameras, and they could see themselves on the tv screen, and were dancing and doing karate movies and jumping up and down and laughing hysterically. For them, this was the most exciting and fascinating thing for them, and it made them so happy, and made me so happy just watching them. Twirly dresses and toothless grins. They had no worries in the world, and no concern with anyone watching them or the people around. They were happy doing their dance moves and enjoying the small things that made them so happy. Pure bliss <3

I believe that as adults, even though we have lots of worries, stress, work and responsibilites that children do not, we can still learn all of life's small and big lessons from children. Kids see the world through eyes open wide, everything in wonder and amazement, with no judgment of anything or anyone, pure heart, love, care and concern for everyone and everything. They are pure innocence. The smallest things are so exciting and bring them so much joy. We should all remember to sing and dance, laugh outloud, hug, love, roll in the grass, play in the mud, write in the sand, run through the sprinklers, let the raindrops fall on our cheeks, and snowflakes fall on our eyelashes. Watch a Disney movie, go on a ride at an amusement park, run around the park, be silly sometimes, have fun and don't take life too seriously. Remember to work hard but also enjoy and have fun. Remember the simplicity of life as a child, and to keep that simplicity and bliss throughout our lives, even after our actual childhood has passed and we are grown up, but we can always keep that childlike spirit and remain a child at heart :-)
